Rush painting jobs - Yes! We do them.
CertaPro Painters® of the South Shore & Boston
When can you start my painting project?
There are a few factors that determine when we can start your project, but first it’s important to know that if you let us know your timeline, we can usually meet it.
How long will it take to get me a painting quote?
Scheduling a quote can usually be done within a day or two. If you cannot find a time on our online calendar, just email [email protected] and we’ll fit you in at your convenience.
Once we’ve got the scope of the project, we’ll have your quote emailed to you that same day.
We also do remote painting quotes – snap us some pictures and send them to [email protected] and we’ll get you a price in about a day.
Check out our weekly post to see approximately how long it will take us to start painting your project, once you decide to hire us.
Exterior painting timeline:
Exterior painting is generally done April – October because we only paint in temperatures above 50 degrees. Rain and snow prevent us from painting as well as damp surfaces. Note, when the puddles have dried on your driveway, it’s a good indication that your house is dry enough to paint. To be doubly sure, we have a special moisture meter which will tell us for sure if your home is dry enough to paint.
Larger crews:
If we know you’re in a hurry, we can assign a larger crew on your project, in order to get it done faster. 8 painters can get it done in half as much time as 4 painters can!
Deck maintenance in a hurry:
We can stain your deck in a hurry as long as outdoor temperatures are 45 degrees and above and it doesn’t rain for at least 24 hours afterwards. Because horizontal surfaces typically wear out much faster than vertical surfaces, deck and porch floors tend to wear out much faster than the vertical railings that surround them. Lots of South Shore and Boston-area homes include mahogany decking – here’s our guide to maintaining your mahogany deck.
Yes, we can paint before your party in two weeks!
For exteriors, as long as the temperature stays above 50 degrees and it doesn’t rain, we have a special “rush” crew that we keep just for situations like this. For interiors, we can squeeze you in our schedule if you’re trying to meet a deadline using our interior “rush” crew. So yes, we can likely fit your rush painting project into our schedule.
Commercial painting timeline:
We are usually able to start and finish your interior and exterior painting projects as soon as you sign your contract with us. We often paint for commercial clients who are under tight deadlines, and are able to add larger crews to the job to get things done on time.
Because our commercial clients often want us out of the way of their employees and staff, we are able to schedule night and weekend interior painting at no extra charge.
If you have any questions about whether we can paint for you in the timeframe you need us to, just email [email protected].
You can help speed up the process:
While you’re waiting for us to paint for you, you can help speed up the process by doing the following:
Investigate colors and sheens – start narrowing down your choices and sample some paint. We’re also happy to order (free!) large 8” x 8” color samples from Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams for free to help you along.
Let us know as soon as you’ve decided that you’d like us to paint for you. Remind us that you are in a hurry.
Docusign your painting proposal when you get it – this is the fastest way onto our scheduling board.
Pay your deposit using our payment platform.
Pray to the sun gods if we’re painting your exterior.
