Asbestos ceilings

CertaPro Painters can remove the rough texture on ceilings, but not if asbestos is present.

Residences built before 1984 may contain asbestos in the rough, textured coating.

Only a certified asbestos removal company can remove the asbestos ceiling safely and CertaPro Painters is not a certified asbestos company.

The only way to know if your textured ceiling contains asbestos is to use a testing lab.  You can hire a company to collect samples and perform the test. Or you can bring samples to the laboratory to complete the test for a small fee and they’ll assess the presence of asbestos.
