Exterior EIFS Repairs & Painting Project for Pharmacy
CertaPro Painters® of Grand Haven was contracted to help with exterior stucco repairs and painting for a Rite Aid pharmacy in Muskegon, MI. The pharmacy is a 1 story building approximately 12,600 sq ft in size. Multiple surface types were on the building that needed to be painted including a metal roof, metal doors, EIFS, and stucco on the exterior. CertaPro repaired the EIFS where the signs were removed to a like new condition, then all metal doors, stucco, and the metal roof were painted.
CHALLENGES:
This project took place during COVID testing that was being run out of the pharmacy. The drive through needed to stay open during the project. Traffic management was required to make sure that COVID testing operations were not interrupted during the painting and repair project.

The stucco siding on the building had cracks, paint was faded and the sign removal had left holes in the substrate that were visible from the ground.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
Direct to metal paint and primer was used on the metal roofs. Loxon was used for the block and A-100 on the siding.

The colors of the exterior were out of date when compared to newer locations, the colors would be updated as part of the project.

The signs above the entrance were removed and EIFS repairs were done to repair the holes where the signs were mounted.

After the project was completed, meticulously went over the finished areas of each location to make sure it met their high standards.

Store was rebranded with new colors and new signs. CertaPro repaired the EIFS where the signs were removed to a like new condition (no holes) and then all metal doors, stucco and the metal roof was painted.
