Interior Painting Project for Retirement Community
CertaPro Painters® of Eastern Monmouth County, NJ was contracted to help with refreshing the interior of a large retirement community in Jackson Township, NJ. The project included multiple rooms and over 10,000 square feet of wall space that was in need of painting. The building was in overall good shape when our team arrived, but the facility was due for painting to be done. In this feature we will showcase before and after photos and cover details about how the project was completed.
CHALLENGES:
The painting project was to be completed in a Memory Care unit that specialized in Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia care, the area is very well secured and it was important to minimize disruptions to the day-to-day flow of the building. This made scheduling and access to areas a unique challenge for the project.
CHALLENGES:PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
Over the last eight months, we have completed turnarounds for the Independent Living areas, as well as the Assisted Living and Memory Care units, as part of this ongoing project. This work included a complete repaint of the units as well as any additional carpentry or touch-up work that was required. We will also begin Phase 1 of the Independent Living common areas this month, which will include a wide range of aspects in the scope of work. On a weekly/daily basis, our team works with upper management and project managers on the complex’s major renovation.
