Exterior Brand Conversion for a National Entertainment Center

When Hilton Display needed to convert a former Bowlero bowling and entertainment venue in Addison, Texas, into a Lucky Strike location, the project required far more than a fresh coat of paint. CertaPro Painters of Lewisville, Richardson & Lake Highlands was engaged to execute a full exterior rebrand, applying Lucky Strike’s three-tone color scheme and a custom stripe-and-arrow design across every visible side of the building.

Hilton Display, which designs and manufactures exterior signage and interior décor for brick-and-mortar brands nationwide, has worked with CertaPro Painters on Lucky Strike rebrands for more than a year. For this location, the team had only an AI-generated rendering to work from, with no formal measurements for the new design. The project ran for 20 working days across roughly a month in spring 2026, with crews routing around rain delays to keep the schedule on track.

Design Translation:

With only an AI rendering provided by Hilton Display, and no formal measurements for the new design, the CertaPro team had to translate a digital concept into a precise, full-scale layout before any paint went on the wall.

Surface Preparation:

The front, left and right sides of the building were power washed and fully primed with Sherwin-Williams ProBlock Latex Primer ahead of the color application.

Three-Tone Color Application:

The building was painted in Lucky Strike’s signature scheme using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Acrylic Latex in a Satin finish: Cityscape 7067 as the primary gray, Extra White 7006 and Real Red 6868 for the stripe and arrow accents. Metal man doors and frames were primed with Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Universal Acrylic Primer and finished to match.

Custom Stripe & Arrow Layout:

The design called for two stripes wrapping around the front and sides of the building, along with a series of arrows in varying sizes. Without exact measurements to follow, the crew used a level to manually map each stripe and arrow point, confirming consistent width and sizing all the way around the structure.

Weather-Adjusted Scheduling:

Rain throughout the project window meant the schedule had to flex day to day. The team completed the work in 20 working days over the course of about a month, coordinating around weather to keep the rebrand on track for Hilton Display’s timeline.

Equipment:

A 45-foot articulating boom lift was used to safely and efficiently reach the upper sections of the building’s façade.

Final Walkthrough:

Once the finish coats cured, the CertaPro team reviewed every elevation against the original rendering to confirm color placement, stripe alignment and arrow consistency before calling the project complete.

OUR TOP QUALITY COMMERCIAL PAINTING PROCESS

At CertaPro Painters, rebrand projects like this one demand more precision than a standard repaint. Translating a corporate design rendering into a consistent, multi-sided color and stripe layout takes careful planning, accurate measurement and an eye for detail that holds up from every angle of the parking lot.

Throughout the project, the team carefully covered and protected signage, lighting, windows, doors, security cameras and other fixtures to keep the rebrand contained to exactly the surfaces it was meant to transform. That same attention to detail extended to daily cleanup, with tools and equipment stored safely each evening and the site left presentable for ongoing business operations.

BEFORE PHOTOS

Before CertaPro arrived, the building still carried its full Bowlero identity: dark navy and red branded sections, the Bowlero wordmark and a holiday-themed graphic on the upper façade. Comparing the before and after photos side by side shows the full scope of the brand conversion.
