Furniture Store – Interior Retail Painting Project
CertaPro of Duluth & Norcross, GA was hired to repair and paint a Rooms to Go location. The scope included repairing holes on all walls and painting the full interior. Rooms to Go is a large, one story building filled with all kinds of furniture for sale. The interior was in overall good condition but many of the walls needed patching prior to painting, several sections of drywall were replaced.
CHALLENGES:
The crew had to repair many areas where inexperienced people attempted to fill holes and repair the walls. There was also quite a bit of furniture to cover and protect. The store was also broken into sections that the crew needed to finish on time and in order.
CONDITIONS:
The building was in good condition but had many wall that needed repairs, and had patches and holes to be filled.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The crew repaired all the walls before painting. The crew was also in charge of removing all old paint from the wood trim as needed.
PROJECT TIMELINE:
9-10 Days – Completed in September 2021
