Working as a Residential Sales Brand Specialist

The Residential Sales Brand Specialist is responsible for providing training, support, and implementation of sales strategies and programs to drive residential sales success for the CertaPro Painters® brand. A successful candidate will meet or exceed annual budgeted residential sales business KPIs. This role will be integral in increasing Residential Sales Associate productivity and retention. The Residential Sales Brand Specialist will report to the Residential Sales Brand Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Residential Sales Associate Training Program that currently includes three classes that are attended in a sequential order. Classes are offered multiple times a year in-person at the Corporate Headquarters and virtually.
  • Coordinate additional training initiatives consisting of:
    • Product line offering and services
    • Customer-centric brand experience processes
    • Project management and painter-focused productivity
    • Post training recall programs
  • Drive strategy of improving success ratio through training, supporting, and influencing Residential Sales Associates. The position will be focused on improving success ratio per established metrics.
  • Provide customer-centric programs to help Residential Sales Associates increase average job size per established metrics.
  • Deliver support on residential brand sales pilot projects including:
    • Recruiting franchise business participants
    • Managing the structure of the pilot
    • Collaboration with internal team drivers
    • Ongoing communication with participants
    • Compiling feedback from participants
    • Analyzing performance to propose recommendations for next phases
    • Conducting retrospectives in support of an agile testing process
  • Program management for residential sales strategies consisting of:
    • Payment options
    • Color guidance
    • Referral programs
    • Previous customers
    • Estimate follow-up
    • Vendor-sponsored initiatives
    • Onsite and remote consultations
  • Support on Annual Sales Conference and other peak performance training events. Responsibilities include creating, designing, and facilitating content.
  • Regional in-field support for associates/coaches in a scalable manner.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years professional experience required
  • Assertive leader with demonstrated success in consultative sales and influencing others
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must demonstrate keen problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong analytical abilities, comfort manipulating data, and ability to see beyond the numbers
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize to meet commitments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Previous residential selling for home improvement preferred
  • Experience working in a franchise environment or in a multi-location organization is a plus

This position can be remotely based and will require travel to the Corporate Headquarters located in Audubon, PA as well as other areas of North America to conduct training.
