The role is designed to bolster the CertaPro Painters® video, photo and overall content library. We need to capture footage and photos of our local businesses and document what work they do so that we can build a library of local and national painters doing the work that separates them from the competitors. To innovate creative solutions for the CertaPro Painters® brand that drive consistency, brand awareness and supports the franchise system and organizational growth using photo/video creation and social channels.

Reports to: Art Director (AD)

What You’ll Do: Responsibilities

  • Captures photo/video content across the franchise system to build the library of assets used in marketing projects. Projects range from painting, flooring installation, and production, to interviews and large-scale commercial shoots.
  • Works collaboratively with AD and various Marketing and Corporate Team members to document projects happening throughout CertaPro Painters in North America.
  • Builds out and develops the CertaPro Youtube channel under the direction of the AD, Digital Team and other Marketing team members to create an expansive library of videos on services offered, tips, promotional pieces, portfolio, and more.
  • Archives and categorizes content for use in marketing projects.
  • Records internal video updates to be released through the system.
  • Documents meetings and social events that happen at the Corporate office, annual conference, meetings and special events, and beyond.
  • Works with the Digital Team to create social media posts and campaigns to increase lead flow.
  • Creates brand-conscious solutions and new directions for social channels.
  • Assists with digital asset platform and availability of creative assets to vendors and internal users. Updates content, tagging content, and maintaining up-to-date pieces.
  • Archives files and upkeep of the servers to maintain organization and catalog.
  • Works with in-house legal counsel to gain approval on all consumer-facing creative solutions.
  • Functions as an in-house photographer/videographer.
  • Assisting Senior Designer (SD) in video creation, long-form editing, internal videos, pulling clips and content to be used in projects.
  • Bringing forth new ideas and concepts that keep us top of mind and on trend or ahead of trends

What we are Looking For: Required Qualifications

  • Expertise in creative solutions design and minimum 5+ years
    professional experience.
  • Expertise in latest design and video programs (Adobe Premiere,
    After Effects, etc).
  • Proficient in entire Adobe suite.
  • Expertise in motion graphics.
  • Expertise in video recording and editing.
  • Experience in social media platform posting and creation.
  • Prior experience managing and holding accountability with vendors.
  • Knowledge of creative brief process and demonstrated experience from creative concept to outcome.
  • Should live within a reasonable driving distance of CertaPro’s home office, located at 2621 Van Buren Ave Unit 550A, Audubon, PA 19403, and be able to travel reliably to the home office and to CertaPro Painters Franchise locations in the surrounding region on short notice.
  • Must have access to their own professional-grade filming equipment, including camera, audio, and lighting gear suitable for high-quality video and image production.
  • Occasional national travel and travel to Canada required to capture content.

Hybrid Remote Work Policy:

Employees who live within a 50 mile radius of CertaPro’s Audubon, PA headquarters are subject to the Hybrid Remote Work Policy, which requires them to work from CertaPro’s headquarters every Monday and at least one additional day per week chosen by the employee.  Employees subject to the Hybrid Remote Work Policy are also expected to work at CertaPro’s headquarters on days when there is a Meet the Team event for prospective franchise owners scheduled.
