Nativity Church Line Striping Project

About the Project:

INITIAL CONDITION & PROJECT SCOPE:

Before our work began, the existing parking lot striping had faded and become dull, reducing visibility and overall appearance. The curbs throughout the lot were also worn and in need of repainting. These conditions impacted both aesthetics and safety, particularly in high-traffic areas used daily by students, staff, and worshipers.

The project included a complete refresh of all painted traffic, safety, and playground markings across the property. CertaPro Painters® provided new, high-visibility coatings to improve organization, appearance, and safety. The scope of work included painting all yellow curbs and lines, parking space lines, designated handicapped spaces, directional arrows, parking spot markings, and all bollards throughout the lot.

Challenges & Solutions:

The primary challenge of this project was completing the parking lot painting while the church and school remained fully operational. With ongoing daily activities, maintaining safe access for staff, students, and worshipers required careful coordination and constant awareness of traffic flow throughout the property.

To address this, the CertaPro Painters® team implemented a phased approach, directing vehicles to designated areas scheduled for later painting while completing work in sections finished earlier in the day. Entrances were temporarily closed as needed, and traffic was carefully funneled to alternate access points to ensure safety and minimize disruption. This strategic scheduling allowed the project to be completed efficiently while keeping the property accessible throughout the process.
