A Local Piece of History

Nestled in the scenic neighborhood of The Avenues, this impressive 3-story residence, dating back to 1901, showcases classic Neoclassical Revival architecture. The house, spread across a vast 2,757 sq ft, features wooden exterior siding and meticulously crafted trim. In sync with the architectural sensibility of its era, the property boasts a porch extending along the full length of its facade.

About the Project:

Condition of Facility:

The age of the house necessitated a thorough power washing and meticulous hand scraping of the wood base to ready it for a fresh coat of paint. Some sections of the wood had to be repaired and replaced prior to the painting process.

Project Involvement:

The complete exterior of this residence, as well as the garage, experienced a transformational repaint. With a distinctive emphasis on enhancing the porch and trim details, we applied fresh paint on the window and door frames, the distinctive dormer window, the doors, the shutters, one chimney, and even the porch ceiling, posts, and floor. Uncompromisingly, we utilized Sherwin Williams SW0055 Light French Gray for the main body of the home, while SW2819 Downing Slate was meticulously applied to the trim and porch details.
