Time for a Refresh

These two buildings, located in an industrial park south of the Salt Lake City Intl. Airport, had not been painted for 10+ years and the rubber expansion joints were cracking. Our team was hired to repaint the exteriors of these buildings.

About the Project:

Condition of Facility:

These storage facilities sit nestled in a sprawling industrial zone, a stone’s throw away from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Boasting an expansive 191,000 square feet, one of our warehouses is matched closely by its sibling, measuring a substantial 179,000 square feet. Constructed in 2000, these structures serve as bustling hubs for delivery and distribution operations.

Project Involvement:

We used a 4 man crew to complete each building in 3 ½ weeks. The rubber expansion joints had to be replaced before the painting could be completed. We used a third party for this portion. Once the new expansion joints were installed, they had to cure for 6 days. After those 6 days, we power washed then painted the concrete portions of the buildings using a boom lift. Once completed, we installed new address numbers on the buildings as well.

Special Equipment:

We utilized a boom lift for efficient application of paint to both warehouses.

Before and After

We had a great experience, and will definitely be using them again for our next project. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Our painter was very good at his job and easily to communicate with.
