Manufacturing Building Exterior Case Study
CertaPro Painters® of Salt Lake City, UT was contacted in September of 2021 to complete an exterior paint job for an industrial/manufacturing building in Glendale, UT. The facility was 100,132 square feet and was built in 1960.
CertaPro Painters® took on the project of painting the body of the building, the top metal flashing on the north side, the overhead doors, the inside of the man doors, and the monument sign.

MATERIALS:
- Sherwin-Williams Multi Surface Acrylic: CertaPro Painters® used Sherwin-Williams multi-surface acrylic paint on the building. This product is designed to stick to a multitude of surfaces and intended to maintain its sheen and color for many years.
- OSHA Colors: The team also repainted the yellow parking bollards and safety blocks located throughout the property using OSHA safety yellow.
PROCESS:
This project involved power washing the surfaces, caulking some joints, and painting. We applied two coats of paint to the metal siding, fiberglass, and brick areas.

Before the project began, CertaPro Painters® surveyed the building to create a plan with crew members and building owner. Once the crew was done with the project, the exterior of the building looked as good as new!
