From Dull to Dynamic: Interior Renovation
In September 2025, CertaPro Painters® completed a one-week interior renovation for a Goodwill location sales floor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The project involved repairing drywall and applying a fresh, modern color scheme to revitalize the store’s interior.
The existing walls required patching and prep before painting, and the client wanted a bold, refreshed look to enhance the customer experience.
The finished design featured Dress Blue, Lazy Grey, and Luau Green strategically placed throughout the space. This vibrant, coordinated palette brought new life to the retail environment while ensuring a durable finish with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Interior Satin.
About the Project
SCOPE OF THE WORK:
Our crew began by performing minor drywall repairs to smooth out surface imperfections. Once the walls were patched and primed, we moved on to the painting phase, carefully following the client’s color layout.
The far back wall was finished in Dress Blue, while the left and right walls at the entrance were painted in Lazy Grey. The front of the store around the register area, all columns, and the bathroom alcoves were refreshed with Luau Green. This multi-color design gave the sales floor a dynamic yet cohesive look.
SPECIAL EQUIPEMNT & TECHNIQUES:
One of the main challenges was removing items and signage from the walls before repairs and painting. Our crew handled this process with care to avoid damage and ensure the surfaces were properly prepped.
The height of the walls also required the use of tall ladders to safely reach and paint areas above the ceiling grid. With thorough preparation, expert drywall repair, and careful paint application, the team delivered a crisp, professional finish that met the client’s vision.
