In October 2025, CertaPro Painters® completed a two-week commercial repaint for Costco Wholesale in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The project involved restoring the exterior of this large retail warehouse to ensure color consistency and protection across all surfaces.
Over time, exposure to sun and weather had caused uneven fading, prompting the need for a fresh, uniform finish that aligned with Costco’s corporate branding.

About the Project
SCOPE OF THE WORK:
The repaint included the main building body, red metal accent features, Costco signage, and exterior entry doors. To achieve proper adhesion and performance, our team primed surfaces using Sherwin-Williams ProCryl Industrial Primer before applying Sherwin-Williams A-100 and Sher-Cryl coatings—chosen for their superior weather resistance and fade protection.
Every stage of preparation and coating was performed with precision to meet both the facility’s operational requirements and brand standards. The finished result restored the bright red architectural accents and neutral base tones that define Costco’s recognizable exterior.
SPECIAL EQUIPEMNT & TECHNIQUES:
Due to the scale and height of the building, this project required extensive use of boom lifts and tall ladders to safely access high and hard-to-reach areas. The crew followed strict safety protocols throughout the project while maintaining productivity and minimizing disruption to daily store operations.
Working with industrial-grade coatings like Sher-Cryl and ProCryl required professional experience to ensure even application and proper curing in outdoor conditions.
