Commercial Painting Project for Tepuy Property Management
CertaPro Painters® of Castle Rock was asked to paint a large commercial property in Broomfield, CO managed by Tepuy Property Management. The building had a complex color scheme that the property managers wanted to retain while updating the building’s exterior appearance. The overall project involved at least five different systems, had various substrates and required over 3,000 measurements.
About the Project:
Condition of Facility:
When the project started off, this property was outdated with faded paint on the East and West sides and exposed brick on the front side.
Project Involvement:
This project involved painting a considerable amount of absorbent substrates such as concrete and brick. These substrates must be covered well to establish a smooth and seamless finish. Due to the complexity of the design and architecture, the project also required over 3,000 individual measurements.
Special Challenges:
The vast number of measurements taken in the prep phase of this project required precision and detailed documentation. This ensured proper coverage with new paint as well as minimal waste.
Project Timeline:
The project took 11 days from start to finish.

Josh is originally from Indiana. He went to college at Indiana University in Bloomington majoring in both Marketing and Professional Sales. During his time at IU, he was actively involved with the second largest student-run fundraiser in the country supporting the local children’s hospital in Indianapolis. His previous work experience includes working at the 3rd largest insurance brokerage in the world, where he was able to get top of the line training in both sales and marketing.
Josh moved to Colorado be in a place where he could enjoy spending almost every weekend outside. During the winters you can find Josh now skiing down his favorite mountains, although never having skied before moving to Colorado. During the summers Josh loves to go hiking, camping, and enjoys spending time with his friends at live music events.
