Professional Painting Project
A large-scale painting project was completed at Graywood Companies, a 70,000-square-foot industrial facility in downtown Rochester, NY. Over four months, the project involved painting both the interior and exterior, including walls, ceilings, trim, and applying epoxy flooring. You can learn more about this project below.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
Our professionals refreshed the outside of the building with a thorough power-washing and updated paint. The interior of the industrial space received epoxy flooring and repainting of walls and ceilings, including the yellow safety trim.
SPECIAL CHALLENGES
The facility presented significant challenges due to over 40 years of accumulated grease from mechanical operations, requiring extensive degreasing and cleaning. Specialized equipment, such as lifts, diamond grinding, and shot blasting, was utilized to prepare surfaces properly. Additionally, power was shut off to facilitate a thorough washing of the building. The result was a revitalized, safer, and more aesthetically pleasing industrial space.
PROJECT TIMELINE
The project took 4 months to complete, and was finished in 2024.
