Warehouse Exterior Painting Project

Warehouse Exterior Painting Case Study

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

In June 2026, CertaPro Painters® of Roanoke, VA, completed an exterior painting project for a storage and warehouse facility in Danville, VA. At the start of the project, the building exhibited faded and peeling paint that had diminished the visibility of the property’s original design elements and overall appearance.

To prepare the surfaces for painting, our team thoroughly power washed the entire building to remove dirt, debris, and loose contaminants, creating a clean surface for proper paint adhesion. All loose and peeling paint was carefully scraped away, and areas requiring additional preparation were spot primed as needed before painting began.

Our painters coated the building’s siding, fascia, gutters, downspouts, vents, window boxes, the ceiling beneath the entryway, and the white metal fascia located within the entryway ceiling. The project also included painting the rear portion of the building to the L-shaped section extending from the left side of the structure, as well as the black garage door and its frame. Throughout the project, our team carefully preserved the building’s existing color palette and design scheme to maintain its established appearance while providing a refreshed, updated finish.

CHALLENGES

The building had diamonds painted on the exterior siding. Our painters needed to repaint these diamonds and this was done freehand.

PROJECT TIMELINE

The project was completed in 7 days.

FINAL RESULTS

The completed project restored the warehouse’s appearance while preserving the property’s original design elements and visual character. Fresh coatings helped revitalize faded surfaces, improve curb appeal, and enhance the visibility of the building’s unique architectural details. The finished result provides the facility with a clean, professional appearance designed to stand up to the elements for years to come. See the photos of the results below!
