We create a custom proposal for your painting project. It will specifically include the exact scope of work you wish to have quoted. The cost will depend on the complexity and size of job, as well as the preparation.

Do you have a project minimum?

$450 minimum

Is there anything that can change the cost of a project after a customer receives a quote?

Finding concealed damage can add to the cost, or if the customer adds additional work to the scope of work.

How much paint do you need to paint a home?

It depends on the size and square footage of being painted.

When is the best time to paint?

Interiors, any time. Exteriors, Spring to late Fall.

How often should people paint their homes?

For exteriors, between 6 to 9 years. For interior 10+ years on average.

How long does it take to paint a home?

It depends on the size and complexity of the job.

Are you insured?

Yes, General Liability and Workers Comp.

How many people do you send out for each job?

It depends on the size of the job. Ranges from 1 to 4.

How will my project be managed?

Your job will be managed by a job site supervisor or foreman.

Is there a warranty?

There is a 2 year warranty. Warranty details will be in our proposal.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business for 15 years.

Can the painters work alone in my house?

Yes, our paint crew is very trustworthy and haven’t had any issues in 15 years.

What type of paint do you use?

Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams.

Do you have eco-friendly paint options?

Yes, from both Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. (Zero VOC)

Do you use any materials aside from paint? 

Staining, solid stain, natural, semi-transparent. Epoxy paint for cement floors, and masonry. Waterproofing paint. Specialty faux finishes

Do you have color consultations?

We offer 1 hour free color consultation visit per project.

Are there certain color palettes you suggest for interior?

Depends, neutral (beige, off-white, etc) tend to be more popular. It’s the homeowner’s personal choice.

How many paint colors are included in your typical proposal?

It depends, 4 colors for interior projects. We can provide accent colors for rooms (upcharge in contract/proposal). Primarily 1 color for exterior siding, and a trim/accent color.

Is there anything the homeowner should do to prep for your crew to arrive?

For interior painting projects: Remove wall art/hanging/mirrors. Pack your fragile items.

For exterior painting projects: Park cars away from the house. Trim shrubs and vinery prior to the painting project starting.

What is your clean up process?

We do a daily clean up and store our equipment. We’ll highlight this in our proposal as well.

Historic Houses,  we have painted houses as old as 300 years old. Large estate homes.

Is weather a factor in your area when it comes to wear and tear on exterior painting or the painting process in general? What specific weather conditions cause this?

Yes, particularly in Long Island being near the water, which tends to be windy and salt air can lead to age the painting finish quickly, especially in certain seasons. Heavy sunlight in an open area with no trees can also lead to wear & tear, plus fading of the original color.

We sponsor local teams including Swim Teams, Baseball, Soccer
