Ali ReidSocial Media & Marketing Manager

Ali Reid serves as the Social Media and Marketing Manager for CertaPro Painters to support her husband’s growing business. Ali’s full-time work and passion lies in education and she is currently the Director of Engagement and Accountability for the Tennessee State Board of Education. In this role, Ali is responsible for several of the Board’s oversight responsibilities and has the privilege of traveling around the state with the Board members as they meet with education stakeholders. Prior to joining the State Board, Ali was the 7th and 8th grade Academic Dean at STEM Prep Academy, a charter school serving a largely immigrant population in Southeast Nashville. Ali is a former middle and high school English teacher and a Teach For America alum with over a decade of work experience in education. Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Florida and was the President of the Music City Gator Club in Nashville for 3 years while also managing the club’s social media accounts. Ali and Andrew met on a dating app in 2016, were married in 2022, and live in Hendersonville with their dog, Mocha.
