It’s the Perfect Time to Stain Porches and Decks

Now’s the time of the year to stain porches or decks, with the dryer weather and lower humidity. Mid to late spring presents optimal conditions for protection and looks. First, we start by power washing the desired area to remove mold, mildew, and dirt particles that have been worked into the surface of the wood.

After it’s left to dry, sometimes for a few days, we’ll return to apply the stain or sealer. Be sure to watch the weather and make sure it has 24 hours or more to dry after applying stain.
