CertaPro Painters® of Kansas City Northland was contacted in April 2021 to paint the Shawnee Mission, KS Ford building. Our professionals worked on their show room, service area waiting room, parts counter, and restrooms. Overall, there was 10,000 square feet of wall covering to prepare and paint. The walls had old wall coverings on them that were stained, ripped, and falling off in sections all over the building.
Our commercial painting professionals worked after hours and in sections so the Ford service center could continue to operate without disruption. In just two weeks, our professionals had the entire space looking as good as new! In fact, the client was so satisfied that CertaPro Painters® of Kansas City Northland was hired to come back and do the exterior of the building.

Through high-levels of communication and coordination, our team was able to complete the project on budget and under the allotted timeframe without incident.
Equipment –
Our team had to use a scissor lift in the main areas so that they could reach the walls that were 25 feet in the air. They also also removed and replaced 100 damaged ceiling tiles in the whole area with the scissor lifts
Involvement –
This project involved removing all the old wall covering, skim coating and sanding all the walls to get red of the wall covering damage. Then we had to prime and paint the walls. This was all done at night and in sections so they could keep selling and servicing cars.
