Car Wash Exterior Painting

Project: Our team at CertaPro Painters® of Greenville East, SC successfully transformed the exterior of Whatta Wash Car Wash located in Duncan, SC. The overall condition of the car wash was in good shape, however it was simply in need of a refresh!

Process: Our dedicated team embarked on the project by meticulously power washing the exterior, ensuring a clean canvas free from any dirt. The challenge of revitalizing the metal building and poles, bearing witness to color changes from years of exposure to the elements, was met with expertise. The complexity of the task escalated as we navigated around the continuous operation of the car service center, which operated seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm. Managing the painting schedule became intricate due to this constant activity. Overcoming the hindrance of dew presence before 8 am and after 8 pm, our industrious crew maximized daytime work between car services. To further optimize productivity, we rented stadium lights, allowing the team to extend their efforts post 8 pm and complete as much work as possible before dew accumulation. For this project our team also utilized lifts to reach higher and hard to reach areas.

Result: The project was successfully completed within 9 days and our customer was impressed by our team’s work. The transformation gives the car wash a bright new look, and is eye catching to all its visitors!
