4 Commercial Office Paint Project Ideas

Posted on April 3, 2019

Your office should be a place of work first and foremost. Beyond that, the office should inspire creativity, teamwork and productivity. If you’re thinking of a new office paint project, here are 4 ideas that will bring your employees a happy and work-filled environment.

Accent walls

One quick and affordable way to liven up an office is to create an accent wall. Choose a bold color, bright mural or over-sized logo to make a statement. Choosing a space where this accent wall will be visible to many employees is good. The chic offices choose a lobby, hallway or conference room to place their piece.

Ombre

Ombre techniques are being used in painting homes everyday. Bring this fun and stylish paint into your work office in a quick office paint project. To be truly unique, use a sideways ombre to go down a hallway to your offices. When used traditionally, ombre is a good way to make an office look bigger by tricking the eye into seeing more space.

Color washing

Using a technique like color washing creates a faux finish with depth and texture within one color. The color is thinned out and used in layers creating a vintage look on the wall. It’s a good way to incorporate a company color within the organization without painting a logo on the wall.

Write-on walls

Pass your office paint project on and let your employees do the decorating. Make your wall the work of art. Both chalkboard and whiteboard now come in paint on applications. Either will require several coats. Some work better than others, so keep that in mind when pricing out the job.
