Giving Back – CertaPro Painters of East Tennessee
Our team as CertaPro Painters of East Tennessee is committed to community involvement and charitable initiatives. Our initiatives support veterans organizations including Wreaths Across America, Honor Guard, and giving out gifts to our veteran customers each year. Learn more about our initiatives below:
Christmas Toy Donations
Team funded event for a local charity that takes care of children when they’ve been pulled from their homes and are awaiting foster care. Our office staff and painters pooled money together and then we went and bought all the things they needed for their shelter as well as to give for kids there at Christmas.
Honor Guard Donations
Each year CertaPro Painters of East Tennessee had the opportunity to go out and meet some of these veterans and present a check for $2500! Honor Guard is a group of volunteer veterans who provide full military honors to all East Tennessee veterans who were honorably discharged. They also provide counseling and guidance to next of kin for things such as funeral arrangements and navigating military benefits. Wreaths Across America
The pictures below are from Dec 7, 2019. We placed wreaths on the head stones of approx. 6,000 service men and women buried at the Old Veteran’s Cemetery. Wreaths Across America provides a wreath for each service member’s grave at more than 2,100 locations, including Arlington. The wreaths are fresh and brought down from Maine. Approx 500 volunteers were at the location we were. We were at the Old Veteran’s Cemetery on Lyons View Pike. This particular cemetery holds 6,000 service members. All participating locations begin their wreath ceremony at noon.

Local Charity Initiatives
In addition to giving back to Honor Guard, and Wreaths Across America. We give gifts to each of our veteran customers, and help local non profit organizations.
