Recently Repainted Commercial Facility Exterior in Kelley, IA
CertaPro Painters® of Des Moines, IA, was contacted in August by Huxley Communications in Kelley, IA, for a commercial exterior repainting project ahead of their town’s 150th anniversary celebration on September 15th. This project was on a tight deadline, as a mural painting was also scheduled for the coming days.
The brick structure had aged with lots of peeling paint. Since there was no on-site water access, we brought in a water truck to power wash the surface before painting.. We started the job by carefully scraping off the old peeling paint, followed by thoroughly power washing the surface, prepping the surface, then completing the job with elastomeric paint to coat and protect the repainted surface from outside elements,
We were able to complete the exterior repainting job on schedule, and in 3 days, giving the facility time to get the mural painting also completed ahead of the scheduled celebration. Completed in August 2025, the project reflects our commitment to flexibility, quality craftsmanship, and collaborative service to the commercial community in and around Des Moines, IA.
