Large-Scale Industrial Repaint Project
In 2025, our team partnered with Ferguson Construction to support the multi-phase renovation of the Parker Hannifin warehouse and office facility in Lewisburg, Ohio.
Spanning over 150,000 square feet, this extensive six-month project involved transforming decades-old industrial surfaces into clean, functional, and professionally finished workspaces.
As part of a broader renovation effort, our team was brought in to address long-overdue surface restoration and repainting across both the office and warehouse environments. From ceilings stained by years of machine coolant to walls caked with grease and grime, the project required both intensive preparation and problem-solving to meet quality and timeline expectations.
The result was a dramatic, floor-to-ceiling restoration of one of the region’s major industrial hubs.
About the Project:
Scope of the Project:
The project included a full repaint of both office and warehouse spaces. Work began with a top-to-bottom blow down of the ceiling, followed by no-rinse cleaning methods to safely prepare the surfaces without halting operations or introducing moisture into sensitive areas.
The repainting process covered a wide variety of substrates, including drywall, metal piping, metal decking, and concrete. Given the scale and range of surface types, close attention was paid to adhesion, coating selection, and application consistency across each of the three project phases.
Challenges and Special Techniques:
Several unique challenges required adaptive problem-solving and specialized techniques. One of the major hurdles came when the original paint began failing under new coatings, compromising adhesion and causing unexpected delays. In response, the team brought in a dry ice blasting crew to strip compromised areas and create a clean surface for proper bonding.
To access the building’s high ceilings and difficult areas, we employed three scissor lifts, a large industrial compressor with 100-foot hose reach, and an air knife to perform a thorough blow down before painting.
Coordination with multiple trades working simultaneously required strategic phasing and ongoing communication to keep the project on schedule without sacrificing quality.
