Eye-Catching Maineville, OH Home Exterior Refresh
In October 2023, the experts at CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati completed this residential exterior painting project in Maineville, Ohio.
The project focused on revitalizing a beautiful brick home, which had retained its original factory brick, siding, and trim colors since it was first built.
The homeowner was eager for a complete transformation, seeking a fresh and modern aesthetic for their home’s exterior.

Scope of the Project:
The scope of work included painting the entire exterior of the main home as well as the detached garage. To ensure a long-lasting finish, thorough preparation was essential. The team began with pressure washing, cleaning, and carefully scraping any peeling areas on the trim, followed by light sanding.
Once the prep work was complete, the painting process began in earnest. Multiple coats were applied to the brick, siding, trim, window trim, bay window, gutters, and downspouts. In addition to the painting, the back porch ceiling was also stained to complement the refreshed look of the home. The entire project was completed within a week, transforming the home’s exterior and giving it a striking new appearance.
Special Techniques:
A special brick washing solution was used to properly clean the brick surfaces, which had never been painted before. This step was crucial to ensure proper paint adhesion, and ensured a smooth and successful finish.
