Elevating Entryways and Hallways with Custom Wainscot & Painting
In April 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati completed a five-day interior renovation for a home in Park Hills, KY. The homeowner wanted to add character and brightness to the main entryway, hallways, and stairwell while enhancing the existing trim details. Our team began by carefully measuring and installing wainscot panels in the main hall, stairwell, and upper hallway, along with chair rails to match the entryway for a cohesive design.
Once carpentry was complete, we prepped all surfaces by repairing nail pops, dings, and stress cracks, cleaning, scuff sanding, and sealing any stains. The painting phase included two coats of flat-finish paint on the walls and semi-gloss oil-based paint on baseboards, chair rails, door frames, window frames, spindles, stringers, and wainscot panels. The result was a beautifully unified interior with enhanced detail, depth, and visual appeal throughout the home’s primary living spaces.
