Project Overview

This stucco home in Mason, Ohio, needed a professional refresh to brighten its appearance and restore some damaged areas. The exterior surface showed signs of wear and tear, including two visible holes in the stucco and deterioration in the foundation. Our team at CertaPro Painters® of Cincinnati was brought in to handle both carpentry repairs and a complete exterior repainting.

Scope of Work

The project began with detailed carpentry repairs. We filled and smoothed gaps near the front entry, patched holes on the right side of the home, and resurfaced part of the foundation on the back of the house. After the structural repairs were completed, we moved into prep work which included caulking, light sanding, scraping, and power washing to remove mildew and debris.

With a clean and solid surface in place, our painters applied two coats of flat finish exterior paint across the entire home, including the stucco body, soffits, trim, gutters, downspouts, and wood window trim.

Special Challenges

Matching the texture and finish of stucco on the repaired areas required special techniques. Each patch had to be blended seamlessly into the surrounding surface using a stucco resurfacing method—ensuring repairs were not just strong, but visually undetectable.

In just one week, the home was completely transformed. The exterior now looks clean, fresh, and polished—restoring the property’s curb appeal and ensuring lasting protection against the elements. The homeowner was thrilled with the updated look and the smooth experience from start to finish.
