Deck and Gazebo Restoration Project

Scope of the Project:

This residential project took place in June 2024. The focus of the project was repairing and staining the home’s decking and gazebo, both of which had suffered significant wear and tear. The deck showed extensive fading, chipping, delamination, and structural damage, requiring repairs to rotted, splitting, loose, and failing boards, steps, railings, and lattice. Similarly, the attached gazebo needed repairs, staining, and a full roof shingle replacement.

The project involved extensive exterior carpentry work and staining. The team began by demolishing the damaged surfaces and replacing the deck boards, railings, and steps with new pressure-treated wood. Once the repairs were complete, the deck was stained to match its original color before deterioration. The gazebo received the same repair and staining treatment, along with a full roof shingle replacement.

Special Techniques:

One of the biggest challenges was replacing the shingles on the gazebo roof, which required carefully removing the existing shingles, relining the roof, and installing new ones. Not all painting companies offer full-service carpentry, but our specialized carpentry division handled all necessary repairs and installations, ensuring the project was completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
