Hotel Exterior Transformation at Park Hill Inn & Suites

PROJECT SCOPE AND PROCESS:

The project began with comprehensive masking of all windows, air conditioners, lights, and surrounding surfaces to prevent overspray and protect guest areas. The crew then repainted the entire stucco exterior using a bold, attention-grabbing colour palette designed to modernize the property and improve its visual impact.

Inset strips on the exterior columns were painted in a contrasting accent colour, adding architectural dimension and giving the building a more contemporary style. The metal roofing and cladding, which had become faded and chalky over time, were fully primed and repainted to restore their original strength and weather protection. To complete the update, all exterior utility doors received fresh coatings to ensure a cohesive finish across the property.

TECHNIQUES & SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

The most significant challenge was navigating weather delays, which required flexible scheduling and careful timing to ensure proper adhesion and a flawless finish.

Additionally, because the hotel remained open throughout the project, all work had to be carried out with guest satisfaction in mind. This called for strategic staging, noise control, and careful planning to minimize disruption to daily operations.

Boom lifts were used extensively to reach the four-story elevations and roofline safely. This equipment allowed the crew to work efficiently and access all exterior surfaces while maintaining high safety standards on an active hospitality property.
