Project: During the Fall of 2024 in Boca Raton, FL, homeowners wanted to refresh their kitchen cabinetry, changing the color from gray to a clean white to better match their home’s decor. While the surfaces were generally in good condition, one side panel had faded due to sunlight exposure.

Process: CertaPro Painters® of Boca Raton, FL began the process by removing all doors and drawers, carefully labeling each component for reassembly. Surrounding areas were protected to prevent possible damage during the painting process. Next, the prep process kicked off with a detailed cleaning to remove grease and cooking residue. Our expert team sanded the cabinets to create a smooth surface, then primed the cabinet to ensure a solid base for the finish coats. Using an HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) Sprayer, the team applied Sherwin-Williams’ Gallery Series Waterborne Topcoat, ideal for kitchen cabinets due to its durability and smooth finish.

Result: The project was completed in 5 days, leaving the homeowners thrilled with their newly transformed kitchen. The fresh white cabinetry brightened the space and enhanced the overall aesthetic.
