When Doug was looking to buy a franchise, CertaPro stood out to him. He is passionate about the company’s core values, one of which is practice continuous improvement, which he demands of himself and his staff every day.
Doug cares about the Akron community and is excited to build a family business that promotes community within and around Akron/Canton. He has worked in a variety of industries since earning his degree in Human Resources Management from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Among them are manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, and metal framing), recruiting, and home renovation and restoration. He firmly believes that passion for the quality service his franchise provides and empathy for the talent he hires should accompany business acumen. He manages his business accordingly, emphasizing skill development for his staff as well as for himself.
Doug makes sure he spends plenty of time with his lovely wife and daughter. Together they travel, play sports, hike our beautiful Cuyahoga National Park, and relax with friends around a warming fire.
