After spending 23 vibrant and fulfilling years immersed in the realm of Cleveland TV News, I ventured into various paths about two decades ago, exploring realms such as public relations, marketing (both traditional and digital), sales, publishing, and entrepreneurship. Through these ventures, I swiftly realized my calling lies in being an employee rather than managing a multitude.
In 2008, I unexpectedly found myself drawn into customer service and retail, particularly focusing on the interplay of color and design. To my surprise, I discovered a natural affinity for both people and design, blending them harmoniously. While not formally certified in interior design, my concentration remains on color, light, and equilibrium. Rather than adhering to trends, I prefer to navigate the timeless elements of design, adapting them to suit individual spaces.
In late 2022 and early 2023, I embarked on a journey to ascertain if there was a market niche for assisting individuals and businesses solely with paint color decisions. Despite the plethora of advice, shows, apps, and opinions available, choosing the right paint color remains one of the most daunting tasks in the realm of design and decoration. I approach it with the reverence it deserves, considering factors such as lighting, existing decor, and personal preferences. Indeed, there is a significant demand for my specialized services.
Equipped with a comprehensive array of digital tools, samples, and examples from Sherwin Williams and beyond, I am prepared to collaborate with any company palette.
My guiding principle is simple: “Don’t pursue perfection around the clock. Instead, aim to ensure that occupants of a space adore it for most of the day.” Unless one possesses an extraordinary ability to control sunlight, perfection remains an elusive goal.
