WHEN WILL MY JOB START
Painting in Northeast Ohio can become tricky with the ever-changing weather patterns we experience. We will contact you 7-10 days from your start day in most cases. If you have booked an exterior project, our lead times can vary from a few weeks to a few months depending on the year. WHY DO WE STAY AWAY FROM SPECIFIC START DATES?
We believe in finishing what we have started prior to beginning another project. There are several things that can affect your start day including previous customers changing colors or adding areas, unpredictable weather, illnesses, paint shortages, and labor shortages are just some of those items. For this reason, we avoid promising specific dates to clients because we don’t want to promise anything that we may not be able to deliver.

WHY DO YOU EMAIL SO OFTEN?
This provides everyone with a clear path of communication. Multiple parties can be included and they can be read at your convenience. It will also provide a written trail for everyone to use in the event of changes and or special promises made.

HOW DO I PICK PAINT COLORS?
After you have decided to book with us, you have a few options. The store associates at your local Sherwin-Williams are always happy to help. The Sherwin-Williams Stores have a full color wall with many paint samples to choose from. We can also provide you with a phone number to schedule a free remote color consultation with a SW representative. Still can’t decide? ***Please be aware. Bold colors may require additional coats that can impact your price. An example of a bold color would be Barn Door Red.
If you have a change of heart prior to the start of your job, please reach out to our office asap. We typically purchase your paint up to 24 hours prior to the start of your job.

WHAT IS THE “ADDITIONAL COAT” OPTION? DO I NEED IT?
Many times, when painting over a bold color with a more neutral color it will require additional coats of paint. Your salesperson will include primers or additional coat options. The same will be done if you choose a bold color such as red or deep blues. These additional coat addendums are to remove the surprise element from the estimate. If the standard estimated coating does not cover to your liking, you will know exactly what “one” more coat will cost.

ONCE THE JOB IS STARTED, WHO DO I CALL IF I HAVE A QUESTION/CONCERN?
If your question is related to the workflow or when the crew will arrive, estimated days, etc., then you will communicate directly with the Job Site Supervisor. If you have a complaint or concern, we encourage you to address this with the Job Site Supervisor on-site for the quickest fix. Our Job Site Supervisors are professional and will not hold a grudge over being asked to fix an area or clean up a space. After all, we are here to make sure you have a great experience.

CAN THE PAINTERS WORK ALONE IN MY HOUSE?
Absolutely, and this is the most common scenario. However, if this is something you don’t feel comfortable with then we can create a plan to work around your schedule.

HOW DO I PAY?
We offer four different payment methods. During your pre-production setup call, our associate will document your preferred method of final payment. ACH Debit, Paper Check, Credit Card and financing are all options. You can also visit our only payments page – Pay Your Invoice Online to pay by credit card or e-check.

WHAT IF SOMETHING IS MISSED?
Our goal is to make sure everything is satisfactory prior to leaving. We will walk the job with you prior to leaving. Any touch-ups will be taken care of right then and there. That being said, painting is a manual process and small details may be overlooked from time to time. If you notice something after we leave, please reach out to our office at 440-471-7060 to schedule a quick touch-up.
