Commercial Case Study

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED:

The building had a failing paint system on its masonry surfaces with severe peeling and stress fractures present.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:

It involved removing loose paint and debris. Sealing up surface cracks and applying a waterproofing paint system of Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP.

CHALLENGES, EQUIPMENT AND TECHNIQUES:

The building was located next to an active railroad and was part of a natural wind tunnel. Some of the special equipment required to complete this project included ladders, scraping equipment, sprayers, brushes, and rollers.

FINAL RESULT:

The project started in October 2022 and was finished in two days.
