Automotive Service Center Concrete Floor Coating
A Local dealership contact CertaPro to install a decorative floor in their service area. The project included four sections of floor in service bay areas. In total the project would coat 16,000 square feet of concrete floors with a durable polyurea coating. CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:The service center needed to keep operations going while the floor coating project was being done. We broke the project up into sections to allow parts of the garage to remain in operation, once a section was cured we could rotate to another one. The scope of the project was also large, with 16,000 square feet of floor coatings needed.
FLOOR COATING PROJECT
- 16,000 square feet of flooring
- 700 linear feet of safety yellow line striping embedded into the floor
- Floor installed in sections to reduce downtime for the dealer
- Floors diamond grinded, cracks and pits are repaired, polyurea basecoat with decorate chips, and a clearcoat on top
PROJECT CONCLUSION:
The new floors saved the dealership 3-4 days of service time for each section. The final floors are durable, easy to clean, uv stable, and slip resistant.
