“A Brighter Feel”
A valued returning client approached us with a vision to transform their kitchen cabinets into a refreshing spectacle. Seeking to complement their newly acquired custom hardware, the client desired brighter cabinets to elevate the kitchen’s ambiance. This project was focused on infusing a vibrant and clean aesthetic, seamlessly integrating with the elegant enhancements already planned for their kitchen space.
The Previous Look
Preparation
Day 1: We removed all doors and labeled them accordingly, from there we took the doors to our CertaPro shop to degrease and clean by hand with TSP. Once they were all clean, each door was sanded down and primed.
Day 2: After letting the doors dry overnight, the crew returned the following day to spray the first coat of paint on the doors and then to prime the cabinet boxes at the customer’s home. All boxes were taped off to ensure no primer/paint got on to the countertop. Once the boxes were dry from the primer, they were then brushed and rolled with the first coat of paint.
Day 3: The crew returned to the shop and sprayed the second coat on all the doors and left them to dry over the weekend. They went back to the customer’s house and did the second coat on all the boxes for them to dry over the weekend as well.
The Finished Product
Day 4: All the doors were wrapped carefully and transported back to the customer’s home. The doors were put back according to their respective labels and all hardware was installed accordingly. The customer was very excited for the fresh new look on their cabinets.
