Description of Project: The project scope included the exterior painting of two buildings, revitalization of a basketball court floor, and the integration of PARC’s new branding colors into the overall design.

What did the project involve? The unique aspect of this project was not the technical challenges but adapting to the sensitive environment of PARC. As a facility serving children and adults with mental challenges, it was imperative to maintain an atmosphere of safety and comfort. Our team worked closely with PARC staff, receiving escorts to different work areas to ensure minimal disruption. This approach was vital in maintaining a secure and reassuring environment for the residents, who consider PARC their home.

Special Challenges: The project was time-sensitive, as it had to be completed during a period when the facility was not at full capacity, around the holidays. This constraint put our team’s efficiency and time management skills to the test. Despite these challenges, we successfully completed the project within the stipulated timeframe, demonstrating our commitment to both quality and efficiency.

Special Techniques: One notable technique involved caulking expansion-type joints with a backer rod between windows and brick, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. The custom paint job required meticulous attention to detail to align with PARC’s new branding, seamlessly integrating their identity into the physical environment.
