Residential Makeover in Keller, TX
This is a brick home with older masonite-type siding that was damaged in many places. The brick was not painted, and the painted siding was badly faded. Our team was called out to refresh the entire exterior with new siding, carpentry work, and paint. You can learn more details about this residential case study below.

Conditions:This project was completed during an extreme shortage of paint and primer in our market. The project was originally estimated to use Sherwin Williams products, but when it was time to do the work, Sherwin Williams had no primer for brick in any store in our market. Because of our relationship with all the major paint companies in our area, we were able to purchase the appropriate primer from another paint company, and keep the project on schedule.
Project Involvement:
On this project we removed all the old siding on the home, and replaced it with James Hardie LapSiding. This was a significant amount of carpentry work. We also fully primed and painted all the unpainted brick on the home. The customer chose a dramatic black and white color scheme that vastly updated the look of the home.
Special Challenges:
On the rear of the home there were two areas of siding that had been installed with the siding panels in neither a horizontal or vertical configuration. This bothered the homeowner, as it looked haphazard and unprofessional. We were asked to install the new Hardie Siding horizontal, which was challenging due to the shape of the area with siding. We were able to do this, and the customer was very happy with the finished work.
