It’s often the case that funeral homes are housed in older victorian style homes in Connecticut. These older structures are more likely to experience settling and occasional water leaks that can result in damage to interior ceilings. This particularly funeral home in Wallingford was experience all of that and needed a makeover to continue to serve its purpose without looking dated or in disrepair.
Here you can see how the ceilings appeared before work began. There are stains and patches evident as well as areas like a break room that are just suffering from too many older coats of paint that were applied without any prep work.
As always the areas where we worked were prepped and steps were taken to protect the furniture and wall art that was inside the home. Care was taken to minimize the creation of dust that can accompany cutting, installing and taping drywall before painting.
After the work was completed the ceilings looked as if they had never had any issues and were a fresh and bright shade of white. Even the break room looked much better.
