Buying a new home can be one of the most exciting days of our lives. With a new chapter just behind that front door, you can’t help but want to move in as soon as possible. BUT, if you can push the move-in date back a bit and paint your house ahead of time, there can be quite a few benefits, including:

  • The absence of furniture will allow the painting crew to complete the job quicker than if they had to navigate around couches, chairs, and tables.
  • There are health benefits to painting your home before you and your family move in. There are some paint products that contain VOCs which, when breathed in, can cause eye, nose, and throat irritation.
