About the Project:

Condition of Facility:
The storefronts had rotten wood that needed to be repaired and the paint touched up. Some of the furniture the stores had for outdoor siting had flakes peeling off and covering their storefronts. It was making the appearance of the buildings look unclean and dingy. Especially considering this is where a lot of events are held and people hang out. The buildings and storefronts have seen some abuse over the summer with all of the concerts and parades. The customer was ready to fix the wood rot and get the paint touched up and ready for the upcoming holiday events.

Project Involvement:
We identified and repaired/replaced all rotten wood on the storefronts and repainted the repairs with matching colors. There was a total of 14 different storefronts that needed repairs and almost all of them had a different color scheme requiring the use of over 10 different colors to complete the project.

Special Challenges:
There were some benches that were bolted into the brick pavement that the city had to have removed in order to access all areas for the repairs.
