About the Project:

Scope of Project:

The project involved repainting approximately 600 linear feet of rat run lines, which had not been maintained since the facility was built. The existing paint was dull, peeling, and in many areas completely worn away from years of heavy use. To ensure long-lasting results, we prepped the concrete floors by grinding the surfaces with a diamond plate sander and carefully taping the perimeter for clean, crisp edges. We then applied a Sherwin-Williams two-part epoxy system in white, designed for durability and resistance to the constant wear of a high-traffic warehouse environment.

Challenges & Solutions:

This project came with several unique challenges. The rat runs included narrow areas and tight spaces behind equipment that required careful maneuvering. Our crew also had to work around numerous obstacles such as electrical boxes, vertical pipes, and machinery. Masking was essential to protect these elements while achieving precise lines.

Additionally, our painters relied on their experience with two-part epoxy products to properly mix and apply the coating, ensuring a strong and professional finish.
