Exterior Overhaul in Downtown Portland
This project involved painting the entire exterior of the Dayton Building, located in downtown Portland. This included both EIFS stucco and wooden surfaces.
Due to the high traffic area, this project involved significant planning with the city of Portland in order to close down sidewalks to allow use of the boom lift, in addition to coordination with the neighboring building’s owner to paint areas that were directly above their roof.
A Quality Service Deserves Quality Paint
To ensure that the customer would get the most longevity and curb appeal out of this project, we recommended using Sherwin-Williams paint. The final paints used were Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP Elastomeric for the stucco surfaces and Sherwin-Williams Emerald paint for the wooden surfaces surrounding the building.

The customer was highly satisfied with the new look of the Dayton Building. It’s historic charm was now blended with a fresh appearance that made the building look much more inviting and unique.
