In May of 2021, CertaPro Painters was contacted to repaint multiple rooms inside a local co-operative housing community in the Ottawa area. Rather than traditional exterior painting, this project involved moving and/or covering furniture for interior painting across the property. Originally, the community had two styles of rooms: tan or purple. After a color consultation, the client decided to revamp the colour scheme to bold blue and stoic gray. As you can see in the photos below, the brand new color scheme brought new life to this Co-Op and revitalized each room just as the client intended. CHALLENGES:
This project was given to us on short notice and with a very tight deadline. Naturally, CertaPro is the best choice to get your painting done promptly and at the highest quality possible.
Furniture remained present in most of the rooms. Though it was often shifted aside, our painters had to be very wary and cognizant of their movements. Ideally the furniture would have all been removed, but here at CertaPro Painters, we’re flexible to client schedules.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Color Consultation – The owner of the property was given a range of colors and guidance on how it would look upon application. Unlike house painting, co-op and mulit-family housing facilities like this one are painted far less often. So choosing the right color is our #1 priority for your long-lasting satisfaction.
Prep/Priming – Spot priming was necessary in particular parts of the interior, especially where furniture had rubbed against the walls.
Patching/Minor Repairs – Minor drywall repair was an essential part of delivering a top quality interior painting finish.
Interior Painting – Multiple coats of paint were applied with brushes and rollers. Thanks to the tinted primers applied beforehand, the fresh coat of paint applied to every room has maintained its integrity in the long-term.
