A Home with History

Located in the picturesque locality of The Avenues, this stunning 3-story home, with roots dating back to 1901, exemplifies the timeless Neoclassical Revival aesthetic. The residency, occupying a generous 2,757 sq ft space, is adorned with wooden exterior siding and carefully constructed trim work, offering a nod to its architectural heritage. The house also proudly presents a porch that spans the entire width of its frontage, accentuating the charm of its period design.

About the Project:

Condition of Facility:

The home’s years demanded an exhaustive power clean and detailed manual scraping of the wooden foundation in preparation for a new layer of paint. Certain parts of the wood required some repairs and replacements before the painting process could begin.

Project Involvement:

We have entirely revitalized the outside appearance of this residence, including the garage, by giving it a makeover with a fresh coat of paint. The highlights of our project were accentuating the porch and trim intricacies, where we meticulously painted the door and window frames, the unique dormer window, doors, shutters, a chimney, as well as the porch ceiling, posts, and floor. In order to achieve the desired effect, we conscientiously selected Sherwin Williams SW0055 Light French Gray for the house’s main body. The trim and porch details, in contrast, were expertly painted with SW2819 Downing Slate.
