Transform Your Kitchen Cabinets Today!
Our Sales Team will visit your home and take a look at your kitchen. They will be able to assess the project and give you a fair quote. The price you get will be the price you pay; there will not be any surprise changes.
Several factors will determine the pricing of your cabinet refinishing and painting services. The size of the cabinets and the number of doors and drawers are basic factors. Other factors include whether you choose a stain or paint and how long the project will take. Most projects on kitchen cabinets are either painting or refinishing projects, learn more about the differences between cabinet painting and refinishing below.

Cabinet Refinishing
Refinishing can provide a completely new look or an improved version of the original. If your current cabinets have started to chip, the coating begins to degrade. This can lead to wood rot or warping. Refinishing puts a halt to these issues and is obviously much less expensive than purchasing new cabinets.

Cabinet Painting
You can choose to have your cabinets stained, to bring out the grain of the wood, or painted, which gives you more color choices. The cost difference will depend on how detailed the cabinet is and what style you are looking for.

Common Questions About Cabinet Painting Projects
How can I prepare my kitchen cabinets for painting?
In advance of the painting crew arriving for a cabinet painting or restoration project, we request you prepare by removing all items from the cabinets. Please put them safely away from the work area.
What type of paint do we use on kitchen cabinets?
We only use high-quality professional paint for your cabinets and will determine which manufacturer we apply, based on your needs and our assessment of your surfaces.
What is your cleanup process?
For the in-home portion of the project (where we paint the exteriors of the boxes) if the home is not empty, we will organize ourselves at the end of each day so that all of our supplies and equipment are kept as much out of the way as possible and in a safe manner.
How many people do you send out for each job?
We assign the most appropriate job site supervisor to each job and jobs can have anywhere from 1 – 2 painters on site, depending on the size of the job, complexity, and deadline.
Can the painters work alone in my house?
Most of our residential projects are completed with the customers away at work, however, we are certainly happy to also operate with customers around.
How will my project be managed?
Customers meet with the salesperson and then when it has been booked, the job is handed over to the Operations Manager to schedule the production. Then most projects start off with either the Salesperson or the Operations Manager meeting with the job site supervisor at the job or with a call between the salesperson and the job site supervisor once the job is moving along. The Operations Manager or the Salesperson will check in with the job site supervisor on any job that is longer than 2 days.
Is there anything that can change the cost of a project after a customer receives a quote?
Yes, certain factors can affect the cost. These factors include, but are not limited to, an additional coat of paint, for better coverage (although this is detailed in a clause), or if we find out that something has been previously painted with oil paint and we were not aware of up-front. Generally, the most often reason for a change in the price relates to changes in the scope of work.
Is there a warranty?
We have a contractual 2-year warranty on most of our work.
Are you insured?
We have general liability insurance and WSIB.
What licenses do you have?
While we are not required to have a license to paint in Ontario, we do have a business license from the Ontario government and a commercial license to operate from CertaPro Painters Corporate. We are also lobbying the Ontario government to initiate a formal provincial license requirement for to the painting profession….just like electricians and plumbers.
