CertaPro Painters® of Oakville/Burlington Provides High-Quality Cabinet Painting
Save money and give your kitchen a facelift by having your cabinets refinished! Our team of skilled craftsmen can add new life to the cabinets in your kitchen with a fresh coat of paint at a fraction of the price of installing new cabinets.
Cabinetry Refinishing and Painting Process
For cabinetry projects, we remove hardware and cabinet doors. Your cabinets can then be painted in place, or removed and sprayed in a garage. They can also be taken off-site for more controlled refinishing. Our painters then re-install the door hardware and re-hang the doors once we have completed painting the cabinets.

Cabinet Refinishing
Refinishing can provide a completely new look or an improved version of the original. If your current cabinets have started to chip, the coating begins to degrade. This can lead to wood rot or warping. Refinishing puts a halt on the decay. What’s more, it’s much less expensive than buying new cabinets.
Cabinet Painting
You can choose to have your cabinets stained, to bring out the grain of the wood, or painted, which gives you more colour choices. The cost difference will depend on how detailed the cabinet is and what style you are looking for. You can invite a CertaPro Painters® professional into your home for a quote.

Cost Of Cabinet Refinishing / Refacing and Painting Services
Several factors will determine the pricing of your cabinet refinishing and painting services. The size of the cabinets and the number of doors and drawers are basic factors. Other factors include whether you choose a stain or paint, whether you want them done on-site or removed, and how long the project will take.
What type of paint do you use?
We use Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore.
Do you have eco-friendly paint options?
We use whatever the most logical paint is for the situation including both eco-friendly and low VOC paints
Do you use any materials aside from paint?
Aside from paint, we also use stains for a number of projects.
What is your clean up process?
If the home is not empty, we should be organizing ourselves at the end of each day so that all of our supplies and equipment are kept as much out of the way as possible and in a safe manner.
How many people do you send out for each job?
We assign the most appropriate job site supervisor to each job and jobs can have anywhere from 1 person on-site to 4, depending on the size of the job, complexity, and deadline.
Can the painters work alone in my house?
Most of our residential projects are completed with the customers away at work, However, we are certainly happy to also operate with customers around.
Does your team consist of employees or subcontractors?
We have 2 owners, 1 salesperson, 1 part-time office manager, and a large team of painter subcontractors available to us.
How will my project be managed?
Customers meet with the salesperson and then when it has been booked, the job is handed over to one of the owners to schedule the production. Then most projects are started off with the salesperson meeting with the job site supervisor at the job or with a call between the salesperson and the job site supervisor once the job is moving along, the salesperson and/or one of the owners will check in with the job site supervisor on any job that is longer than 2 days.
Is there anything that can change the cost of a project after a customer receives a quote?
Yes, certain factors can affect the cost. These factors include, but are not limited to, an additional coat of paint, for better coverage (although this is detailed in a clause), or if we find out that something has been previously painted with oil paint and we were not aware up-front.
Is there a warranty?
We have a contractual 2 year warranty on most of our work.
Are you insured?
We have general liability insurance in order to be able to paint commercial projects. We also have WSIB.
What licenses do you have?
While we are not required to have a license to paint, we do have a business license from the Ontario government and a commercial license to operate from CertaPro painters corporate. We are also encouraging the Ontario government to apply for a provincial license to the painting profession….Just like electricians and plumbers.
