Commercial FAQ

What Commercial Painting Services do you provide?
We prep, paint and/or stain all interior surfaces and exterior surfaces. We also power exterior surfaces. Because of how long we have been in business, we also have trusted referral partners who we can introduce to you (or project manage on your behalf) for your carpentry, more extensive power washing, stucco and/or mortar repairs, electrical, lift rental and flooring needs.

Why hire professional commercial painters?
There can be subtle and/or dramatic differences in managing a commercial project vs. a residential project, therefore hiring a contractor with project management experience and Painters with commercial experience can sometimes make or break the project. Professional commercial Painters will also have commercial liability insurance, WSIB, an extensive list of previous customers and a list of trusted referral partners.

When should I paint my commercial space?
There are many examples of when you should paint your commercial property. You could be updating your brand colours or making some renovations that require painting. It could also be a capital budget reason. Ultimately, what your business looks like is a reflection of what others see in your value proposition, so this could lead to a painting decision.

What happens when I ask for an estimate for painting services?
We always prefer to see your potential project in person. We do not “ballpark” commercial projects. After we visit you to take detailed measurements, define the scope of work and deadline and meet you in person to establish rapport, we will send you a detailed formal proposal for you to review.

How long after the estimate does painting begin?
This is dependant on your deadline, whether or not you have any other up-front pending projects that precede the painting, weather (if an exterior), etc… In the end, we are in the business of painting, so we always prefer to tackle projects in a timely manner!

How do I prepare for painting once I have signed a contract?
Preparation, after we get approval or purchase order, is dependant on the project. There can be very little preparation for an exterior other than moving some things away from your property, notifying your Staff to keep their vehicles away from the building, etc… Interiors can require some project management skills, especially if we are painting in offices and common areas. Of course, you will need to choose your colour(s), as well.
