CBC Surgery Center, Schererville, Indiana
Project
The CBC Surgery Center partnered with CertaPro Painters® of Northwest Indiana to refresh key patient-facing areas within its Crown Point facility. The project focused on modernizing the appearance of the waiting and reception areas while working within the requirements of an active healthcare environment. With patients, staff, and daily operations to consider, careful scheduling and communication were important to completing the project efficiently while minimizing disruption.
Process
Areas to be painted were evaluated, and a protection plan was established for floors, furniture, the storefront, and adjacent areas prior to production. We planned the bulk of the work for after-hours to minimize the impact on staff and patients.
Challenges
The primary challenge of this project was working around the business’s hours while maintaining cleanliness. The vaulted ceiling also presented a challenge to access safely. The ceiling required additional preparation, and stain blocking needed to be properly addressed to achieve a consistent finished appearance.
Result
The final result is a modern, clean, professional medical lobby and reception area that meets the needs of staff and patients. The client was especially satisfied with the new look!
